ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Manager to build and manage customer communications. As part of this role, you will work at the strategic level to champion bold and innovative ideas and at the tactical level to develop messaging, design multi-channel campaigns, execute test plans, and iterate based on performance metrics.

You will employ a heavy bias towards marketing automation to drive customer onboarding, feature adoption, and new user growth at scale, with special attention to small and micro businesses. You will also collaborate with marketers across Amazon categories to help them target business customers and drive work purchasing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in defining and execution of customer engagement strategy
  • Build automated campaigns to drive scalable customer onboarding, feature adoption, new user growth, and business purchasing across email, online, and other channels
  • Partner with sales teams and field marketing to deliver sales-ready marketing qualified leads
  • Develop and execute A/B test plans to optimize performance and drive lift in conversions
  • Seek out ways to utilize automation to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Work cross-functionally with our BI and tech teams to define and maintain scalable and repeatable methods of measurement and performance tracking for campaigns

Basic Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in marketing, marketing operations
  • Marketing automation experience (Pardot, Marketo, or Eloqua preferred)
  • Experience working with industry tools, including email, web analytics, content management system(s), and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience managing end-to-end demand generation campaigns, with emphasis on marketing automation preferred
  • Ability to write test plans, proposals, manage S&T approvals and POs

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills. You must be very comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make recommendations and drive decisions.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or MBA degree
  • 6-8 years' experience
  • Experience in B2B, high-tech products/services
  • Experience working with industry tools including email, web analytics, content management system(s), and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Use your attested experience at finding creative ways to do more with less and a track record of staying on schedule
  • Ability to write test plans, proposals, manage S&T approvals and POs
