In this role you will lead our Global Candidate Research team and will oversee a team of research and s focused upon improving the candidate experience and informing our labor planning and marketing strategies to attract the right candidate to the right job at the right time. You will poll candidate and new hire sentiment, predict quality and time to hire, and optimize the hourly workforce by analyzing post-hire ROI and influencing businesses in their labor planning. You will be an advocate for the candidate while identifying win/win scenarios for the candidate and Amazon. We live in a rapidly changing employment environment and you will lead us in shaping the strategy to find, attract, and retain hourly associates at scale. This is a role that requires a big thinker, strong leader, and excellent writer in order to succeed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters or PhD in I/O Psychology, Statistics, Behavioral Economics, or relevant field of study
  • 6+ years of experience in ing and large analysis
  • 3+ years managing high performing Research science and machine learning teams
  • Experience influencing organizational strategy through and qualitative research methods
  • Demonstrated experience turning insights into organizational results


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with People Science/Analytics at a global scale
  • Ability to self direct, multitask, and prioritize a constantly evolving workload
  • Comfort in setting and driving strategy rather than letting a strategy drive you
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Domestic and international travel up to 10% may be required
  • Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkers"
The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $ 134,500 - $160,000 a year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
