Linux Systems Administrator -Amazon Designated Cloud
Note: This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. Amazon Web Services is seeking engineers dedicated to expanding our Cloud Services to government customers.

On a "typical" day engineers might deep dive to root cause a customer issue, investigate why a metric is trending the wrong way, consult with the top engineers at Amazon, or discuss new approaches to automate operational issues.
As a Systems Administrator in this division you will spend time:
• Maintaining the world's most advanced cloud computing infrastructure
• Investigating and resolving system variances before they can impact your Government customers
• Diving deep into trouble tickets to find the root cause of problems
• Escalating tickets you are unable to resolve of your own accord
• Learning to advance your Systems Administration and potential scripting skills
• Studying and learning from industry recognized Amazon distinguished engineers

Denver, CO: Minimum salary this role would offer: This position starts at $65,400. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience
• 1+ year(s) of Linux Systems Administration
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
