As an Indirect Supply Chain Specialist for the Amazon Indirect Supply Chain Operations Center (iSChOC) team, you will own the site's indirect supply chain responsibilities, including forecasting, inventory management, and purchase order management. You will lead supplier management KPI and metrics reporting, and work with stakeholders to find and understand deviation and improvement areas. The Indirect Supply Chain Operations Center (iSChOC) Team runs a 24/7 operation. Shift types may vary across days, nights, and weekends.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• In partnership with the Indirect Supply Chain Leadership, provide support for the fulfillment centers, including: forecasting of non-inventory products, inventory management, non-inventory flow and space models, cycle counts, procurement transaction and expediting support
• Develop deep knowledge of non-inventory items and align with like buildings to drive best practices
• Ensure best practices are being shared and implemented
• Work in partnership both internally and with suppliers to develop innovative solutions to provide Indirect Supply Chain support to the Operations network
• Coordinate the demand identification, procurement, and inventory management of all non-merchandise items required for building operation. This includes corrugate, packing materials, labor and janitorial services, etc.
. Partner with AP, Suppliers and various internal teams to ensure timely resolution of vendor payment issues
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• High school or equivalent diploma or equivalent professional or military experience
• 1+ year working in data analysis and formula creation in Microsoft Excel
• 1+ year working with Microsoft Outlook management and rule creation
• Key performance indicator (KPI) reporting experience in operations
• Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• • Completed Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in supply chain operations
• 1+ years of inventory planning/forecasting experience
• Demonstrated experience understanding process flow
• Supplier/ vendor relationship management experience
• Procurement experience
• Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software
• Lean / Six-Sigma knowledge
• Previous Experience as a Non Inventory Receiver
