ICQA Process Assistant

Description

Key Job Elements:

  • Maintaining the accuracy of inventory in a kitchen setting and leading the cycle count activities
  • Proactively searching causes of inventory defects and root causing those to identify solutions.
  • Operating as a problem solver to remove barriers for associates
  • Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives/Kaizen events
  • Participating in Standard Development for Operations
  • Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline). Assisting as an associate resource, verifying SOP compliance
  • Ensuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance
  • Fully understanding workflow and daily and weekly production goals
  • Reviewing and updating SOP as required
  • Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized
  • Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area
  • Coaching associates to work safely at all times
  • Participating in safety initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • Passion for food and production kitchens
  • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts (including weekends)
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • In-depth understanding of ICQA function
  • Continued meeting or exceeding of department performance goals
  • Leadership Skills/Experience (Seasonal PA/Problem Solving/Process Guide)
  • MS Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education beyond High School
  • Prior experience supervising employees, especially large teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good nalytical skills and passion for problem solving/root cause analysis
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of Amazon associates and management
  • Respect from associates in production area
  • Problem solving experience
  • Ability to quickly make wise decisions with limited information or direction
