Full Stack/Frontend Engineer

DESCRIPTION

As a Frontend Engineer for AWS Audit Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will help us to deliver on our mission to support any workload through new cloud-native services for industry verticals, integration, and compliance. We are building a tailored set of services that will make it easy for customers to reinvent how their industry works and unify their data and processes in the cloud. You will be part of an exceptional team that is a start-up and moving fast. This is an opportunity to engineer and operate systems on a massive scale, and to gain top-notch experience in cloud computing.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with engineers, UX designers, and product managers across teams to develop friendly UI experiences. You will help to define best practices in software architecting and build a highly efficient and skilled team that will own the frontend of a fast-growing AWS service. You will also influence and help shape the growth of our team and our organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of relevant development experience
• Production experience for large web applications supported by React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar web frameworks
• Experience with modern web development stacks/architectures (React, Redux, micro frontends)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Real time / streaming tech
• Familiarity with the APIs and development patterns of SaaS applications such as Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, etc.
• Experience with design/architecting large-scale distributed systems preferably using AWS technologies.
• CI/CD system knowledge
• Experience instrumenting applications with real user metrics to reflect the customer experience
• Familiarity with object-oriented design and RESTful web services
