CloudWatch is a monitoring and observability service build for Dev Ops engineers, developers, site reliability engineers, and IT managers to gain actionable visibility into the health of their applications and system. At CloudWatch we solve problems of massive telemetric data scale, distributed systems/cloud computing, data visualization, and workflow. We run one of the largest time-series data stores on the planet (monitoring more than 1 quadrillion metric observations, triggering 3.9 trillion events, and ingesting hundreds of petabytes of logs per month).

We are currently looking for an accomplished front end developer to build world-class user interfaces for our customers. Are you an expert in web technologies? Successful candidates for this position will have a strong background in building web applications using current technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS and web-UI frameworks like jQuery, React, Flux etc. Working with Web Services, JSON, Apache/Tomcat services is desired. Equally important to these specific skills are a candidate's ability to multi-task, quickly adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements, learn new systems, create reliable/maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems.

• 5+ years of professional front end development
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field
• Current understanding of modern web development technologies and techniques, including HTML, CSS, Javascript, Node and web services (RESTful, etc.)


• Depth in data structures and algorithms, especially those dealing with concurrency or scaling
• Exposure to Front-end libraries/framework - React, Angular
• Experience with Agile engineering practices (continuous integration, TDD, etc.)
