As the company continues to scale, we are seeking Fin Ops Manager to lead and further develop the Payroll Financial Operations team at the Pune & Hyderabad Center; within our rapidly growing Finance organization. This position will champion the innovation needed to pay our employees accurately and on Time, with the highest customer obsession and controllership, at the lowest cost to Amazon. This position will be responsible for all aspects of US Payroll Operations including: hiring, training, and employee development; managing group workload and establishing priorities; ensuring existing policies and procedures are followed; managing annual performance targets; creating and monitoring appropriate performance metrics. This position will also act as an escalation point in resolving outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.
Key Objectives
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure employees set priority, drive motivation & engagement for employees.
• Review and establish causes for unfavorable trends in the key metrics such as Service Level Agreement (SLA), and provide root cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves to support scheduled and ad hoc payroll tasks such as reporting, reconciliations, tax filings and maintaining employee earning records
• Manage workflow, handle escalations, proactively engage resources to address issues and effectively delegate workload.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of internal business processes.
• Continually strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and look for enhancements related to current systems and procedures based on KAIZEN and LEAN methodologies.
• Ensure process is compliant as per the Controllership review.
• Demonstrate a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.


Basic Qualification
• 8+ years of Payroll experience with minimum 5 yrs. in US Payroll including Program management.
• Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details.
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge (pivot tables, vlookup and other formulas).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible to work in rotational shifts including US time zone.
• This role requires working on weekends with two week offs on consecutive days in a week.


• Masters in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• Payroll FPC certification.
