Amazon's Accounting organization is seeking an exceptionally bright, motivated, team-oriented individual to support the Administrative team, multiple Directors, and the Accounting team as a whole. In this role you will join a diverse, enthusiastic and supportive Executive Assistant community providing a unique opportunity to develop your administrative skills and experience while helping other EAs do the same. A proven track record of effective time management, taking initiative, working independently, delivering exceptional results, and exceeding expectations is important. The most qualified candidate will be an effective communicator, both verbally and with written correspondence, possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. Understanding basic company organization, working relationships, and business partner roles and responsibilities for this team is important.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support to multiple calendar and scheduling requirements;
  • Coordination and planning of domestic and international travel;
  • Completing expense reports, purchase orders, and managing corporate card purchases;
  • Tracking and helping to drive completion of key deliverables, following up on outstanding items;
  • Organizational chart updates
  • Planning and coordinating team activities and events

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years administrative support experience
  • Experience managing multiple calendars
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Powerpoint
  • Ability to quickly learn organizational structure and the objectives of the team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, team-orientated philosophy, and problem solving skills
  • High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment; self-motivated
  • Team player, always looking for opportunities to help wherever needed
  • Proven success meeting deadlines and driving a high volume of tasks with minimal direction
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time
  • A terrific work ethic accompanied by an ever-positive, get-it-done attitude
  • Proven results in using good judgment and streamlining efforts for more efficient processes adding overall value
