Enterprise Finance Strategist
- Santa Monica, CA
DESCRIPTION
Are you a CFO or finance executive that has been involved in the planning and execution of a cloud-enabled business transformation at a large organization in order to improve operational performance and drive growth? Can you help executives and leaders from around the business understand the value of ground-breaking solutions and how to adopt them to improve agility? Have you led a large organizational and cultural transformation? Have you helped an organization manage and/or change how they leverage their partners?
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're hiring an enterprise finance strategist to join our team of former CxOs in the enterprise strategy group responsible for guiding our enterprise efforts and advising the largest companies on how they can transform the way they use technology to deliver business value. Our enterprise strategists combine their personal experiences using AWS with learnings from other customers, to help enterprises understand and realize the business value they can unlock using the AWS platform. This role is part finance strategy and part cultural guidance and advisement. The team's experience and thought leadership is shared through direct customer interactions and AWS Marketing channels such as the AWS Enterprise Strategy Blog (https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/enterprise-strategy/) and AWS Executive Insights (https://aws.amazon.com/enterprise/executive-insights/).
Ideal candidates will be able to speak to all aspects of financial management related to technology delivery in large organizations including leadership, audit, operating plans, governance/controls, technology budgeting, and shareholder/board/executive reporting of cloud initiatives. In particular they will be able to help enterprises understand and navigate to a future state of these processes to capitalize on the unique power of the cloud, and the change from a fixed to variable technology expense strategy. Enterprise strategists are expected to author blog posts, create presentations and other customer-facing content, deliver that content to customers both individually and at events with audiences ranging from dozens to thousands of people, and they will make sure our customers and partners are successful at building and transforming their business on AWS. Finally, enterprise strategists will work with all of our internal teams to refine our services, and commercial strategy for enterprises.
