Data Engineer Amazon Kids+

3+ months agoSeattle, WA

The Amazon Kids+ team is looking for a "full-stack" data engineer with a deep understanding of the full life-cycle of data generation and application. Amazon Kids+ is a children's content subscription with on-demand access to books, applications, videos, and more. We're looking for a leader to help us design and implement world-class analytical infrastructure to reduce development time of business critical analyses, such as forecasts, predictive models, causal analysis, and operational health monitoring.

As a data engineer, you will work with software engineers to understand the data they emit, and with analysts within the team to understand how that data can be optimally used. You will leverage your expertise in data pipelines and persistence to build systems of tools that lower the cost of performing advanced analysis while also expanding the number and types of analysis that can be performed. You will manage access to these data and be responsible for their quality, ranging from resolving telemetry errors with engineering partners to validating that business logic and other modeling assumptions that drive production systems continue to hold true via automated testing.
