The Amazon Robotics Operations and Supply Chain organization sources and manufactures a portfolio of robotics technology globally and is responsible for moving the right materials to the right place at the right time in a compliant manner to support our network of global fulfillment and transportation solutions. It's a fast-paced operation, driven by data and metrics that works cross-functionally with teams across Amazon globally. The Supply Chain team is seeking a proven leader of global trade compliance programs, people and automation projects in the compliance space to lead a new team. A compliance background complete with a Customs License and Logistics, 3PL management, new product introduction and solid ERP experience are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES

The Supply Chain team is seeking a proven leader of global trade compliance programs, people and automation projects in the compliance space to lead a new team. A compliance background complete with a Customs License and Logistics, 3PL management, new product introduction and solid ERP experience are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This global role, reporting to the head of Logistics,= will be responsible for leading a team to ensure that our robotic and automation technology is delivered to our customers in a manner that is compliant with applicable trade laws while moving at the speed and scale our business demands. You will engage throughout the supply chain and product development process to advise, create, implement and monitor compliant processes, tools and metrics. Indexing heavily with the Commodity Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, and Global Trade Services teams, the successful candidate will drive global trade compliance to be a strategic advantage implementing sustainable, automated and auditable functions. For new products, you will provide the business with critical SME knowledge and analyses on many topics to support the seamless transition from beta to full production, including supplier guidance and landed cost analysis. To maintain compliance in line with growth in the long term, you will own and maintain SOPs, provide training, create and implement scalable processes and tools with business stakeholders along with identifying and quantifying risks and solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Current Licensed Customs broker with 8+ years of brokerage and compliance experience
• 5+ years of people management
• Import and Export customs experience
• Ability to accurately identify compliance gaps, perform research, and accurately and succinctly communicate findings, quantify risk, and make recommendations in written analyses
• Project management and verbal communication skills
• Proven history of creating processes and automation
• Ability to create and utilize metrics and reporting to define program health and progress
• Self-starter and independent thinker
• Ability to build trust and work cross-functionally with global business, tax, finance and trade stakeholders through all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholders, while meeting responsibilities, and delivering multiple first-of-their-kind programs with aggressive schedules
• Experience working with ERP Systems, preferably Oracle EBS
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools
• Effective oral and written English communication skills
• Ability to travel ~%10 when typical business travel practices resume
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with International Business focus
• Advanced compliance training (CTPAT, ACE), Masters or Law degree preferred
• Experience creating and implementing an internal audit program
• Experience working with PLM Systems, preferably Agile
• Experience working in a progressive, high growth, high change environment
• Experience working with Tableau analytics
• ASCM CSCP or related Certification
