AWS's growth is driving a rapid expansion of its world-wide sales team and has the need for a detailed, process orientated individual who will help own the operational maintenance of our private pricing contracts. This will include managing multiple defined processes, ensuring data integrity within our systems, and communicating frequently with various teams. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator, be detail oriented, have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and thrive in a dynamic, quickly changing environment.

Private pricing contracts help deliver business value by ensuring all custom terms in our custom agreements are implemented and enforced appropriately. Key Responsibilities

  • Own the process of implementing private pricing contracts including the creation of documentation, defining best practices, creating and implementing rate cards, tracking customer commitments and special terms, and communicating with key parties in the event of billing corrections, contract expiration, and renewals.
  • Proactively identify and implement data improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements
  • Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Salesforce.com, and other data management/BI systems
  • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements
  • Support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Interpret complex pricing contracts and determine pricing rate cards to be applied for a defined term
  • Communicate daily with cross functional teams including Sales, Strategic Customer Engagement, Product Teams and Custom Pricing leadership to ensure all contracts are implemented appropriately
  • Have background in billing, operations, or strategic business process implementation

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Track record retrieving and analyzing data using, Salesforce.com or other CRM/BI systems
  • Have a background in business operational processes, comfortable with process definition and documentation
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience with quantitative, analytical and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
  • Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE)
  • Intermediate SQL skills
  • Intermediate SharePoint skills
  • Familiarity with Lean methodology (Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology (Scrum, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Experience working with custom pricing rate card operations
  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
  • Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
