AWS's growth is driving a rapid expansion of its world-wide sales team and has the need for a process improvement champion who will proactively own operational excellence in the private pricing space. This will include improving multiple existing defined processes as well as designing new streamlined processes, removing manual steps by driving automation; while ensuring data integrity within our systems, and communicating frequently with various teams. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator, a strategic long term thinker, have the ability to drive multiple process improvements simultaneously, and thrive in a dynamic, quickly changing environment.

Private pricing contracts help deliver business value by ensuring all custom terms in our custom agreements are implemented and enforced appropriately. Key Responsibilities:

• Define process and system requirements and drive standardized communication and documentation.
• Drive continuous process improvement for processes relating to private pricing.
• Proactively identify and implement data improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements.
• Support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Communicate daily with cross functional teams including Sales, Strategic Customer Engagement, Product Teams and Custom Pricing leadership to ensure all contracts are implemented appropriately.
• Have background in billing, operations, process design, process implementation, or process improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline.
• Strong background in business operational process improvement.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology (Scrum, etc.).
• Business analysis and functional experience with quantitative, analytical and organizational skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
• Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through.
• Experience in lean methodologies (Kaizen, Green Belt Six Sigma).
• Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE).
• Intermediate SQL skills.
• Intermediate Python skills.
• Intermediate SharePoint skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce.com.
• Experience working with custom pricing rate card operations.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
• Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through.
