Connections Advisors have three primary functions:

1) Listen to employees and document findings regarding engagement in the company through varying feedback systems.

2) Positively connect with employees utilizing a variety of communication methods. The advisor is mainly involved in phone conversations, spending 75% of the working day on the phone.

3) Be involved in regular interactions with Senior Advisors in order to provide practical and meaningful recommendations regarding next steps for continuous improvement.

In this role, you will

  • Dive deep to uncover the barriers hindering managers and employees from building a frustration free work environment
  • Operate in close cooperation with Senior Advisors to help identify our best leaders across all levels of the organization
  • Actively seek out ways to improve and simplify the Amazon Connections process – our tools, communications, our key inputs and data collection, and our measures for success

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or two plus years Amazon experience

  • Actual work experience of listening and asking the right questions to analyze a situation without having to solve the problem
  • 2+ years HR experience or related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly improving and innovative work environment
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Indirect influencing skills and comfort interfacing with internal stakeholders
  • Work experience in manufacturing, distribution or call center environment
