The Prime Video team is looking for a talented, smart, experienced and entrepreneurial Business Operations Manager to help us build an exceptional and authoritative Video destination. Joining the Amazon Prime Video team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment.
The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a category within Prime Video (including reporting, driving sales, revenue growth and, executing promotions), negotiating direct relationships with key Studios, driving incremental selection, and working with internal stakeholder teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience that will result in segment leadership. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for e-commerce, a high level of flexibility, and commitment.

The successful Business Operations Manager must be able to:
• Manage relationships with a portfolio of international and local film and TV studios and distributors.
• Research and monitor industry, customer and competitor trends, input to strategic plans to close competitive gaps and drive market segment growth.
• Plan, develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets
• Analyse vendor performance and customer behaviour to identify and understand risks and opportunities and their root-causes, and propose solutions to address them.
• Seek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes in order to improve productivity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA from a top institute
• 10-12 years' experience with a background (4+ years) in business operations, project management, financial analysis and/or marketing with 2+ years negotiation experience
• Proficiency in Excel and in written English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing within teams and cross-functionally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing within teams and cross-functionally.
• Commercially astute with professional experience ideally in an e-commerce environment and / or a passion for the entertainment industry
• Understanding of digital video supply chain.
• Familiarity with SQL
