Business Analyst

Description

The MBA Recruiting team is seeking a talented business and data analyst to support our growing organization. You will work closely across the organization and with business partners to drive initiatives to simplify decision making using data. You will create standardized reporting, build dashboards, and be a go to problem solver for the team. You will play a critical part in the Recruiting team's effectiveness assisting in future planning, decision making and problem solving.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create Global centralized Dashboards and reports on people metrics of the business
  • Data Analytics - Identify trends and provide recommendations looking at the organization health metrics
  • Work with senior stakeholders on various projects that focus on process efficiencies
  • Be an SME of the corporate reporting tools on HC and recruitment. Provide necessary training to new and existing team members on the usage of these tools
  • Perform regular system audits to ensure complete and accurate reporting of data/metrics
  • Create advanced SharePoint tools that will help in Project planning and tracking of various projects
  • Generate scheduled and ad hoc reports to support organization needs
  • Create and maintain data visualizations that inform and engage business partners on key metrics
  • Data mine key performance indicators to discover root causes
  • Conduct trending analysis to identify opportunities, highlight strengths, and provide recommended corrective actions
  • Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Develop programs, methodologies, and reports for analyzing and presenting data

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of direct experience in quantitative research or analyses
  • Advanced experience with Excel, SQL and working with databases
  • Experience with data extraction using SQL; ad-hoc reporting; manipulation of raw data; creation and updating of pivot tables and metrics presentations
  • Broad knowledge of basic statistics and statistical interpretation of quantitative data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics or related field
  • Experience with Tableau Reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and effectively communicate technical information to internal and external customers who are both technical and non-technical
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues independently in a rapidly changing environment; taking initiative in ambiguous circumstances
  • Robust sense of accountability and sound personal judgment with the capacity to handle confidential information and escalate issues effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to share findings in an understandable and actionable manner
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
