We are seeking a high energy professional for the position of Technical Program Manager, AWS Professional Services Portfolio Team. This position will contribute to the continued success of AWS Professional Services by defining and implementing the portfolio of packaged offers that AWS Professional Services will deliver to their customers.

We are seeking a high energy professional for the position of Technical Program Manager, AWS Professional Services Portfolio Team. This position will contribute to the continued success of AWS Professional Services by tracking and improving management of internal and external knowledge artifacts.

With a clear focus on driving improved knowledge recording and discovery, responsibilities will range from identifying opportunities for improvement, building proposals and implementing change, through to managing stakeholders and supporting AWS and Partner Professional Services consultants in the field. The role involves close communication and collaboration with multiple AWS teams.

A successful candidate will have the ability to effectively lead strategic cross-functional teams and demonstrate passion for scaling Professional Services operations across multiple disciplines and activities. This position requires strong business judgment, problem solving and excellent communication skills. A track record of delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment is a must. This position is critical to ensure that AWS Professional Services will continue to provide value to their customers by enhancing the portfolio of packaged offers.

The role is based in Seattle and will require relocation to Seattle.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience of software development and / or testing.
  • 2+ years of knowledge management and knowledge systems experience in program and/or technical product management.
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment within a team and across groups with competing priorities
  • Strong leadership, project planning and execution skills
  • Self-directed, ability to multi-task, sharp analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Proven design skills and able to find creative scalable solutions to difficult problems
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability and availability
  • Experience building a portfolio of offers for a Professional Services Organization, or experience working for a Professional Services organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, often ambiguous environment
  • Excellent time management, resource management and planning skills
  • Experience with agile or other program management methodologies or Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience working for a Cloud provider
