Building the Sales Organization of the Future
The Americas Sales Strategy, Operations & Enablement (SSOE) team is building the future of sales. We operate with a startup mentality, build mechanisms that scale, and innovate solutions on behalf of our customers.

Our team is responsible for supporting the rapidly growing Americas Commercial Sales business, from Sales Leaders to Solutions Architects and everything in between. We are obsessed with delivering results for customers and supporting sales organizations to shape the direction of the business. We are seeking a Strategic Programs Lead to collaborate with the Head of Strategic Programs and Initiatives and cross-functional stakeholders to define, land and execute against strategic priorities for the business. This role will define and lead new and existing initiatives for the Americas Sales organization focused on improving productivity of our sales teams. This role will partner with stakeholders including Sales, Sales Operations, Product, CRM, and Marketing teams. The individual will incubate new programs to execute on the strategy and will consistently deliver successfully against high standards. This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to "roll up the sleeves."

The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about our customer and business needs. The candidate will be a self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and the foresight to anticipate business needs, make tradeoffs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, will be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, and constantly seek ways to invent and simplify business processes. Maturity, strong judgment, and the ability to influence are all essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Define, scale, and lead strategic initiatives on behalf of the Americas Sales organization focused on sales productivity
• Incubate and execute on strategic cross functional programs
• Drive data-driven analysis and evaluation to make recommendations on strategic execution and investments
• Experiment to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of the business
• Prepare ad hoc analysis to support leadership decision-making

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 10+ years' experience in project/ program management in business operations, sales operations or finance.
• Bachelor's degree is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Technology related sales or business development experience
• Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures and policies.
• Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
• Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
