Amazon Glow is on a mission to improve connectivity between children and their loved ones, no matter how near or far. Amazon Glow is a new interactive device that transforms the way kids connect with remote caregivers by participating in activities together through interactive learning. During video calls on Amazon Glow, kids see remote loved ones while reading stories, playing games, and creating art using a unique touch-sensitive, projected space. Amazon Glow creates a virtual experience that feels like being together in the same room even when far apart. We are looking for talented, passionate innovators who are passionate about developing cutting-edge advances in gaming, learning and connected interactive technologies.

You will work alongside product management, research, and engineering (EE/ME) to define and build the essential lovable device. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define features, drive the software architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.


• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline or industry experience.
• 3+ years of professional software experience.
• 1+ year of firm understanding of software principles, capabilities and limitations of embedded platforms.


• 5+ years of / experience
• Kotlin
• Linux kernel level experience strongly preferred
• , and debugging of modules using in multithreaded environments required
• embedded experience strongly preferred
• Experience with streaming and/or camera handling a huge plus
• DSP experience preferred
• Computer Vision experience a huge plus
