Amazon Logistics Start-Up Procurement Program Manager

Are you excited about customer order fulfillment? Do you want to grow your impact by helping fuel the explosive growth in the Amazon Logistics last mile delivery network? The Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team is looking for a Program Manager II in Startup Procurement.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate purchasing and shipping of equipment used to launch new delivery stations.
• Create Purchase Requisitions, Approve POs, Invoices, and Resolve Invoice Holds.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including Startup Project Managers, Capital Planning Partners, Design Engineers, and Category Managers.
• Manage competing priorities to ensure the successful launches of many of capital projects per year.
• Be the point of contact for field-based project managers for all-things procurement including project change management and escalations.
• Publish regular status updates and leverage data to create reports which can be leveraged by internal customers on a weekly cadence.
• Speak to project status updates and publish action items in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
• Issue RFPs and other large-scale external communications.
• Invent and simplify procurement processes and tools, drive innovation in how delivery stations are launched.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, IT, or related field
• 4+ years of relevant fulfillment/warehouse operations, strategic sourcing or procurement experience; preferably to include 2+ years in an indirect procurement function.
• Proficiency with Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, and Graphs and demonstrated proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, OneNote)
• Proficiency with ERP/Purchasing tools (Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Oracle, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or Master's Degree in a related field
• 5+ years of fulfillment/warehouse operations or strategic sourcing experience, preferably to include 3+ years in an indirect procurement function, at a multinational corporation with global contracts.
• PMP certification
• Proficiency with tools/systems to pull, manipulate, and analyze data including SQL, R, Python, and Data Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Quiksight)
• Experience working with distributed teams
• Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to analyze quantitatively and problem-solve efficiently.
