The Fresh Ops Finance Team is aggressively innovating in a number of areas aimed at propelling our customers' experience by ensuring we have robust and optimal labor plans in our North America. To achieve this, the Production Planning Team is going through a radical transformation. From being the network planner, it will become the Subject Matter Expert that will teach and improve all aspects of production planning. The team will focus on Think (improving planning process, projection accuracy and innovation), Teach (training finance & operations teams, troubleshooting & improving labor plans) and Deliver (drive peak planning, dive deep and plan delivery for new site launches and expansion). To be a part of this journey, we are looking for individuals with strong analytical / dive deep skills along with operational experience to understand the impact of high level decisions.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Expertise collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to drive business improvement and cost reductions
  • Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assisting the Fulfillment Center improve and create new measures for site productivity
  • Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
  • Lead the development and improvement of all weekly operational metrics, labor planning, forecasting, and reporting models and the use and ease of interpretation by your Operations partners
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities & providing level-headed guidance during unexpected events

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
  • 3+ years' relevant experience in positions that require analysis, reporting financial results, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results
  • 2+ years' experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools
  • 2+ years' experience with Excel advanced functions (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
  • General understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
  • Experience with Advanced Planning & Optimization Systems, or Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, with the ability to influence technical teams to achieve the right technical solutions
  • Deep understanding of Distribution and Manufacturing Resource Planning
  • Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques
  • Strong sense of ownership and customer obsession
  • Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills and an ability to come up with creative solutions to impossible-to-solve problems
  • Ability to closely work with operation, finance and planning leaders to manage lead-time, capacity, and optimize the impact of labor on supply position throughout the entire supply chain
  • Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to develop new ideas, creative solutions and demonstrated experience implementing such mechanisms to result
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital
  • Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Essbase and/or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on results of ad hoc analyses to management for strategic decision-making
