The Role

Recruiting is a vital component of our organisation. It is only through the sourcing and selection of the right employees that we can continue to build a world-class company. With the continued evolution of the firm, we are looking for somebody to join our European recruiting team in London.

Core responsibilities will include

  • Working closely with the Recruiting Manager and senior members of the commercial team to plan and execute hiring strategy
  • Implementing targeted sourcing and marketing techniques to identify appropriate candidate pools – including but not limited to: utilising databases, professional online networks, and other online search platforms, writing job advertisements, and attending candidate networking events
  • Interviewing candidates to assess suitability for positions
  • Where relevant, representing the firm at candidate workshops and other relevant company recruiting events

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years’ recruiting experience, ideally at the graduate and early career level
  • An understanding of appropriate candidate networks across the UK and Europe, and knowledge of how best to leverage these networks in order to build a continuous and consistent candidate pipeline
  • Interviewing experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience in direct sourcing and headhunting techniques to identify and engage highly targeted and specific candidates for our business
  • A mature, confident and tenacious personality; someone who can respond quickly and positively to feedback, make decisions with certainty, and learn from challenging situations
  • The ability to fully immerse yourself in the business in order to develop real conviction around what it takes to be successful at AlphaSights, and apply this learning appropriately to the candidate attraction and selection process
  • Ability to work in a highly effective manner with all key senior stakeholders and hiring managers across the business, with the shared aim of recruiting the best people for the firm
  • Ability to confidently manage competing and ever-evolving priorities; including successfully balancing short-term hiring requirements and long-term recruitment strategies in a high-growth and ever-changing environment
  • Commitment and drive to hit quarterly and annual hiring targets by consistently matching the highest quality candidates to AlphaSights
  • Native level fluency in German is preferable, but not essential
