Job Description

Allstate Digital Integration Platform (ADIP) whch is part of Allstate Roadside Services (ARS), is looking for an experienced Developer to play the role of a Lead Developer/Tech Lead on the team. As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for Impact Analysis, Design, Development and maintenance of some Restful services leveraging the following TIBCO Suite of Products: TIBCO Designer, TIBCO Business Works (BW), TIBCO EMS and TIBCO Admin. The Lead developer will have the opportunity to build brand new TIBCO Restful services and also upgrade existing services according to Architecture best practices and standards.

Job Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • 4 to 10 years of experience with TIBCO Designer, TIBCO Business works (BW), TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS) , TIBCO Admin and TIBCO BWPM.
  • 4 to 10 years of experience in Software product development and design.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel. Should be able to work independently and as part of a team. The team is co-located in US (Charlotte and Northbrook), India (Bangalore) and Ireland.


There is a strong desire for the Lead Developer to be familiar with TIBCO ActiveSpaces but that's not a must, he/she can always learn with the team. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Oracle database, can write or modify SQL queries. The candidate will also be supporting the QC team during testing, if any defects are found, he/she need to be able to resolve them. Familiarity with CI/CD is a big plus as well.

It is preferable if the Lead Developer is familiar with Open API best practices and standards since the Restful services that he/she will build will be exposed as Open APIs to our partners and third party developers. It will be ideal if the Lead Developer has experiences with leveraging Apigee as API management tool to expose APIs. The Lead Developer can always learn Apigee on the job and he/she will be sent to training as well for it.
