Job Description

The JAX Professional Development Consultant I is responsible for assisting in the delivery of a broad scope of leadership development initiatives to internal clients by applying professional judgment, knowledge, experience and a broad perspective. The individual assists in the development, implementation, and delivery of routine and/or innovative solutions that support leadership development with minimal supervision. Completes assignments of diverse scope and moderate complexity, coordinates activities, and impacts project-and team-results.

The JAX Professional Development Consultant I is responsible for assisting in the delivery of a broad scope of leadership development initiatives to internal clients by applying professional judgment, knowledge, experience and a broad perspective. The individual assists in the development, implementation, and delivery of routine and/or innovative solutions that support leadership development with minimal supervision. Completes assignments of diverse scope and moderate complexity, coordinates activities, and impacts project-and team-results. Qualified candidates must must have graduated within the past 6 months or be currently enrolled in a Masters Degree program.

Job Qualifications

  • Acquire and use knowledge about the client organization and business in executing leadership development activities; maintain an understanding of overall business unit strategies and priorities
  • Respond to routine inquiries from clients, identify basic leadership development needs, and escalates to appropriate process owner
  • Partner to create simple to moderately complex media, learning content, and activities
  • Facilitation of routine learning events and activities (e.g., Book Clubs; introductory sessions for coaching and new leader development)
  • Solve a range of straightforward problems; analyze possible solutions based on prior experiences
  • Support the development of internal client communications and branding; adapt communication techniques for audiences at multiple internal levels
  • Manage the expectations of clients and internal partners; present facts and information to negotiate a mutually acceptable solution
  • Partner with vendors to ensure effective delivery of services
  • Create queries and learning reports and measurement analyses
