The Property Inspection Processing Associate evaluates and makes Individual Risk Management decisions on property inspections, reviews inspection results, answers inquiries on the status of inspections, risk eligibility and underwriting policies and procedures, reviews underwriting decisions and suggests process improvements. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong grammatical and communication skills, customer centric focus, the ability to perform basic math calculations, the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team collaborative environment.
- Performing in a high volume processing center, responding to internal and external customer inquiries, determining risk eligibility, and executing underwriting policies and procedures.
- Evaluating individual new business and renewal property inspections
- Obtaining and analyzing information to ensure quality and accuracy of decisions.
- Collaborating with leaders and peers in a continuously improving environment.
- 2+ years of processing center and insurance experience preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Intermediate computer skills including: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong decision making skills and analytical thinking required with the ability to make independent decisions and use proper judgment
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and empathetically (both oral and written)
- Must be customer focused, collaborative, and a team player
This position requires sitting for long periods.
Aptitude test required.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
