The Talent Management Team is responsible for creating, implementing and managing Talent Management processes and programs enterprise-wide.
The Talent Management System Lead Analyst is responsible for supporting the TM processes and HR Information System (SuccessFactors platform) as a SME. This individual works closely with the general system administrator and TM SMEs to address and/or escalate employee questions, maintain system processes/elements (i.e., performance, goal library, career development, etc) and support internal customers on ad hoc. The individual will assist with many aspects of talent management processes, policies, communications and technology/systems support including program/process planning, design, administration and measurement. In addition, the individual will assist in the design, implementation, on-going support and continuous improvement of the talent management solutions including leading smaller portions of a larger project. The individual will conduct some data analysis and identify trends information when preparing reports. Projects and processes this role assists may include (but are not limited to) the annual performance management process, succession management and career development/progression programs, as well as other client driven initiatives.
Talent Management Process Design & Technology Support
Stays current trends through best practice research and with technology tool changes; understand full functionality and behavior of software to troubleshoot problems and provide support to end users
Acts as an escalation point for AskHR servicing end-users experiencing difficulties in using the TM applications; Researches and identifies the root causes for problems and own the resolutions which may require serving as liaison between internal customers, AskHR and internal support; escalating complex issues to internal System Administrator when needed (HR Technology, IBM)
Assists in the design and execution of integrated talent management programs, processes and/or policies aligned to the Talent & Leadership Effectiveness strategy and business unit priorities
May lead parts of a larger project
Participates as an active team member in new technology roll-outs, testing/validating, etc.
Responsible for ongoing maintenance/governance of technology, along with general system administrator
Gather and analyze talent management-related data to assess and improve current talent management practices and policies
Provides implementation support to HR business partners, COE staff, managers and AskHR
Develops and maintain training guides and deliver the necessary training to meet user needs
Builds relationships within the Talent & Leadership Effectiveness, HR and client groups to provide on-going support to institutionalize integrated talent management philosophies
Works with Human Resource Client Partnership and HR Centers of Expertise (COE) and other cross-functional teams to ensure that integrated talent management practices are understood, communicated and supported and participate in the delivery of said integrated talent management initiatives
Understands and assists in the execution of one or more of the following: Performance Management, Succession Management, and Career Development all phases
Creates and assists in the delivery and communication of tools to improve and implement enterprise-wide Talent Management processes
Be an active participant in the representation of both the Talent Management Team and Talent & Leadership Effectiveness' brand
Education: Bachelor Degree, focus in Human Resources, Organization Development, Organization Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology desired
Experience: 1-2 years of equivalent experience, in a position with demonstrated success in the area of integrated talent management (performance management, succession management and/or career development)
Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of business software with advanced/intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Intermediate analytical and project management skills
Prior experience in managing technology platforms (SAP TM modules) and developing communications preferred
Advanced time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and organize
Ability to establish, manage and leverage relationships with internal and external partners
Innovative thinking and problem solving
Flexibility and capability to perform in ambiguous situations
