Human Resources Client Partnership team partners with business areas on all aspects of Human Capital Planning. They provide consulting services and partnership on business strategies and projects. The Client Partner work is strategic and involves consulting on Human Resource programs and policies. The team also partners with all Human Resource centers of expertise to build and execute talent strategies. This is primarily done in collaboration and consultation with business unit/client leadership. Examples of this work would include staffing/resource planning, business proposals, and talent development. The Client Partnership team will also consult and coach on performance management, compensation and other Human Resource programs as needed.
The HR Client Partnership Senior Consultant role supports the business, consulting with specific business leaders and their teams. This position provides support to the HR Business Partner. In addition to building relationships and developing an extensive understanding of the business, the HR Senior Consultant collaborates with a team of HR functional experts to implement Human Capital solutions designed to support the achievement of enterprise goals.
Works with internal and external resources to manage large projects within the multiple work streams listed below.
Builds relationships with client groups and provide on-going consultation. Actively work with business partners, Human Resource Business Partner and HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) to ensure that Client Partnership practices are understood and supported. Actively participate in the delivery of core Client Service initiatives. Also work with client to gain in depth knowledge of client business objectives.
Human Capital Planning – allocate and deploy human capital to maximize talent investment and drive superior execution
Support Human Resource Business Partner with workforce planning for all clients
Analyze data and oversee specific action plans
Lead business projects related to talent strategies
Talent Management – attract, develop, motivate and retain key talent to support business growth imperatives in conjunction with the human capital plan
Support talent assessment and development processes, leading data collection efforts and supporting and/or facilitating appropriate talent meetings
Partner with the Human Resource Business Partner and business leadership team to drive talent management and employee engagement
Conduct strategic conversations, act as a consultant and oversee HR process execution strategy and execution oversight (performance management deadlines, salary planning, education and training, talent assessment guidelines and deadlines, VOICE preparation and action planning, etc.)
People Consulting – develop strategic business cases and analyses to support business decisions
Build and maintain effective relationships with client group and leadership; provide HR consultation and recommendations to mid-level/upper-level client leadership
Act as a resource to all organizational levels; anticipate client's needs and build necessary tools and communications
Support change management efforts by developing change plans and communications as it relates to business strategy changes impacting jobs or any HR process changes
Partner with clients on execution of workforce transitions
Provide clients with coaching, training and guidance on Company policies and procedures, compliance, market practices, etc.
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in Human Resources
- Professional with strong organizational, communication and administrative skills
- Advanced project management skills
- Ability to facilitate development workshops
- Ability to think strategically, conceptually, analytically and creatively
- Advanced time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and organize
- Demonstrated clear, concise and effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to establish, manage and leverage relationships with internal and external partners
- Ability to analyze data and apply it to complex problem resolution
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of business software preferred
- Advanced knowledge of SAP preferred
