The Enrollment team supports the implementation of our products involving third party technology solutions. The area supports the presentation of products for Customers then processes that data into policies and payroll deduction files. The team supports the closing of the sale as well as implementation of our products on enrollment platforms, the processing of electronic data and the service of perpetual data files throughout the year.
The Enrollment Services business unit will effectively support Customers with product configuration, deployment and service of enrollment technology tools.
This Team Leader functions as a Manager and supports development and maintenance duties of the Enrollment Services team. Responsibilities include new product development, AB enrollment form account and product configuration on in-house managed technology, Census maintenance, enrollment scenario testing, end user access protocols, report configuration and delivery.
Position interacts with Enrollment Services leadership and requires customer facing activities. Position would also interface with Enrollment Operations to manage file processing requirements of designated enrollment systems. Position would coordinate with QA, Product Support and Actuary units to insure proper setup and compliance is adhered to for file processing purposes within Allstate managed enrollment tools. The position will also have direct manager accountabilities for junior team members.

•Responsible for deployment of resources and distribution of business volumes based on case level complexity and competency of staff members.
•Support training and mentoring program for department, peers, team members and cross functional teams
•Identify and implement process and technology opportunities which will improve the business model, service offering to customers and drive internal efficiencies.
•Represent functional area on large functional/cross-functional projects which are highly complex to effectively communicate business needs.
•Ensure that all the system development/enhancement work undertaken keeps the customer and business operations in mind.
•Ensure that documentation for the system and/or processes the business area owns/supports is comprehensive and adequately maintained.
•Assess technical/process impact of making complex business changes.
•Direct/Lead the effort to identify and resolve complex problems.
•Establish, document and maintain SSO integrations through Allstate controlled technology
•Remediate system issues affecting downstream processing
•Collaborate closely with internal business areas, field sales distribution, implementation, finance, compliance, underwriting, new business, customer service and IT, to effectively recognize and solve case level enrollment strategy issues and corporate initiatives
•Provide technical expertise and guidance to field sales distribution, brokers and technology partners regarding enrollment strategies to support Allstate Benefits products
•Support enrollment strategy planning initiatives with Field Sales Leaders and participate in finalist presentation meetings.
- Bachelors preferred in the Computer Science, Business related fields or related experience
- 3+ years of experience in account set up and EDI maintenance in employee benefits, insurance industry or similar industry
- 2+ managerial experience; ability and experience leading in a fast-paced team environment under strict and often conflicting deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills - both in presentation style with large groups and informally with smaller groups
- Project management skills - 3 to 5 years of experience managing multiple projects
- Knowledge and understanding of the voluntary benefit enrollment process
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access and Outlook)
- Advance skills in data testing, auditing, analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with Agile
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization to influence and drive partner strategies
- Strong relationship management and conflict management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
