Job Description

Front line leader of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Team handling engineering, consulting, lifecycle and support for multiple endpoint and network DLP products. The team partners with infrastructure and business peers to provide technical services to an environment of over 60K workstations and 10K servers.

In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of security engineers who handle the engineering, support, and maintenance of several host and network based DLP products. This includes consulting with business groups such as IT governance and privacy, collaborating on roadmaps, engineering solutions for DLP vectors, executing lifecycle projects (upgrades, patching, capacity increases, new feature rollouts, migrations, and decommissioning), providing technical support, producing capacity and performance metrics, performing DR tasks, as well as the leadership, development, recognition, and performance reviews of your staff.

Your team will follow Allstate's Change, Event, Incident, and Problem processes; therefore a strong understanding of ITIL Service Operation and Service Transition stages are important.

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT security experience, 3 of which were in a leadership position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Management or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Service Operations and Service Transition concepts.
  • Solid knowledge of PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO, NIST, and IT Controls.
  • Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, GSEC, GIAC, CRISC, or CISA are recommended.
  • Experience maintaining IT Security programs and controls for large enterprise environments recommended.
  • Experience with the native security features within the various supported Windows, Mac, and Linux OS versions recommended.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with technical and non-technical resources at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-directed, work with minimal guidance, and recognize when guidance needed.
  • Understanding of Project Management tools, techniques & methodologies.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).

This position can be located anywhere in North America.
