Job Description

Our Coverage Investigative Unit located in Charlotte, North Carolina is looking to add an Adjuster Analyst to their team.

The Allstate Coverage Investigative Unit serves the policyholder through the thorough investigation and prompt resolution of coverage issues on personal lines auto policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing world class customer service
  • Resolving coverage issues compassionately in a way that is fast, fair, and easy
  • Providing internal and external customers with a timely resolution, clear explanation, and addressing questions and concerns which may not be specific to your role
  • Making payment and closing Express owned claims when the opportunity exists in an effort to positively impact cycle time and the Net Satisfaction Survey country-wide
  • Communicating with multiple parties for the purpose of investigating coverage issues including agents, MCO partners, and customers
  • Providing customers with a timely resolution, clear explanation, and addressing questions and concerns which may not be specific to your role
  • Documenting claim files with facts and your decision making process in a manner that is easy for non-CIU performers to understand
  • Handling coverage issues for the entire country
  • Learning auto coverage to an expert degree

Job Qualifications

  • Passion for customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • 1 year claims handling experience
  • Four year degree preferred
  • Ability to use the internet, Microsoft office, and navigate between multiple applications
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Flexible schedule and availability to work some holidays
