The Role

As a Business Process Consultant intern, you will be responsible for assisting with development and implementation of complex projects. You will represent the business area in strategic planning activities and provides recommendations based on best practice benchmarking, data analysis and forecasting. Consults with clients to identify future needs or changes to large scale or complex end-to-end processes.


  • Demonstrates understanding of business unit and/or industry systems, processes and requirements
  • Represents business area externally in benchmarking and best practice efforts.
  • Applies business and industry experience to identify resource needs and process best practices in area of responsibility.
  • Represents the business area in strategic planning activities with senior level executives.
  • Gathers and analyzes business and stakeholder requirements.
  • Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures.
  • Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
  • Applies best practices when summarizing, consolidating, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders and officers.
  • Recommends organizational strategic direction.
  • Develops innovative solutions in support of business optimization

Job Qualifications


  • Target Start Date: May/June 2018
  • Preferred candidates will be completing their junior year
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong decision making and analytical skills
  • Facilitation skills and management consulting
