Job Description

This job family contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and practices for the Agency Services team supporting Allstate's Independent Agents. As part of this job family, the Agency Services Consultant I role Is responsible for the management of operations for the ReQuote process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains confidence, composure and agility in a fast-paced environment
  • Serve as the internal team and field patterns primary resource and liaison in AIA for the ReQuote Process
  • Manages day to day of ReQuote operational processing including reporting needs of team
  • Solicits input from key stakeholders as a consistent process and effective mode to develop best in class products and services
  • Evaluates procedures and processes regularly and determines/ recommends alternatives or improvements
  • Ensures processes are followed and applied consistently among the internal business team and regional partners, including agencies
  • Clearly and effectively communicates basic ideas and information to others, including senior leadership in AIA, PPCOE the field and other departments
  • Solicits input from key stakeholders as a consistent process and effective mode to develop best in class products and services
  • Applies and demonstrates knowledge of how the AIA businesses functions
  • Ensures quality control and timeliness of all team deliverables
  • Interprets and draws conclusions from business data, demonstrating a strong understanding of overall business needs, industry trends and desires or demands that apply to a project or effort
  • Provides thought leadership, innovative ideas and direction in support of senior leadership by demonstrating a broad understanding of the business, customer, and field needs
  • Provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external business partners and works cooperatively and collaboratively with project team members, field leaders, and AIAs
  • Performs research, gathers information, analyzes data, draws conclusions, and makes recommendations
  • Promotes cross functional awareness; understanding the different contributors from other disciplines and works with colleagues to achieve better results
  • Willingly works to resolve conflicts, issues, and differences of opinion
  • Follows through on assigned tasks and commitments with a strong sense of urgency or explains why they cannot be met
  • Identifies outstanding or unresolved issues, and escalates appropriately keeping in mind urgency of timing, commitment to resolve problems and transparency with stakeholders around issue management

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience, experience and knowledge in operations and Insurance
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Advanced presentation and facilitation skills
  • Advanced skills in project management, team building, and problem solving
  • Strong communications skills – both verbal and written
  • Advanced Problem Solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (ability to create presentations and create/manipulate spreadsheets)
