Sterile Fill Technician, Lead - 3rd Shift

Lead Sterile Fill Technician onboarding and training, technical sterile fill suite troubleshooting, help to audit and sustain aseptic technique and behaviors per current standards, and operate line/equipment to fill products and line changeover activities (as needed), in accordance with applicable standards (e.g. cGMP, GDP, SOPs). Includes the ability to train staff that fosters a team environment.
• Technical SME for Sterile Fill operations leading efforts to standardize work execution for Sterile Fill Technicians to improve and sustain current best practices for aseptic techniques and behaviors. • Executes knowledge transfer training and developing Sterile Fill Technicians aseptic techniques, technical skills for right-first-time changeover execution, routine troubleshooting and recovery. • Conduct periodic aseptic audits to ensure compliance to best practice standards and using data as input to drive improvements to Sterile Fill Tech training program and Fill Tech performance. • Proactively directly troubleshoots major to complex fill room technical challenges with line/equipment, line turn, sanitization challenges, escalating to supervision, maintenance and/or engineering as needed. • Prepare line/equipment for daily operation according to SOPs for assigned work area, including sanitization activities. • Perform major cleanings of aseptic areas (e.g., fill suites and ancillary areas). • Active member of Aseptic Core Team, providing input, suggestions, and implementing improvements derived from this specialized team. Ensures communication of weekly safety topics to operators, reports near misses, performs routine safety audits and reports safety incidents to management in a timely manner. High School diploma with 3 years of related work/technical experience. Associate Degree preferred.
