The Software Engineer will specify, design, test, implement and document plant automation and optical testing instrumentation in VB.NET, SQL and other languages

Major Accountabilities:

  • Execute tests in GMP regulated environment
  • Expand automation software libraries to provide additional test capabilities
  • Analyze existing systems to find areas for improvement
  • Conduct diagnostic analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex software issues
  • Providing functional specifications and oversight to 3rd party software vendors

Minimum requirements Bachelors of Science in either Software, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent). Fluent in English. Seven years in a software development, manufacturing or industrial engineering capacity and experience in statistical techniques.


  • Visual Studio programming experience
  • Experience with SQL Stored procedure development and testing
  • Experience with TCP/IP, RS232, and OPC communications
  • Validation Experience
  • PLC programming experience
  • PI Historian administration and data handling experience
