Sr. Facility Mechanic - Electrician - 1st shift
Independently performs facility and machine repairs, as well as craft related duties involving complex skill and problem solving. Evaluate malfunctions in equipment and suggests corrective actions to be taken. Replace and/or repair faulty equipment components such as bearings, machine linkages, air cylinders and control valves, other worn parts, electrical control devices, motors, and heater elements; all respective to individual craft relationships. Helps monitor the completeness and quality of work performed by lower grade mechanics. Maintains preventive maintenance and equipment repair files. Maintains spare parts inventory.
Troubleshoot and repair production/facility equipment with voltages up to 480V.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical problems.
Ability to read, understand and work from wiring schematics/diagrams.
Perform preventive maintenance of production/facility equipment.
Experience with electrical repair and distribution in a production environment.
Experience with facility fire alarm systems.
Diagnose problems with all types of equipment and systems, recommend and perform necessary repairs.
Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA70E

Minimum requirements High School Diploma or GED with journeyman papers in primary craft (4 years). Two years experience specializing in primary craft.
Industrial commercial electrical experience required.
Two years specific craft experience can substitute for each year of trade school
