Senior Project Manager I

The purpose for this role is to support the business of our internal customers through efficient, effective and comprehensive project management solutions. This person will create a transparent project management environment which provides for the effective planning and efficient monitoring of the global and regional medical affairs plans, including Alcon initiated and Investigator initiated clinical studies. This person will also periodically review Global and Regional MA plans and work with CDMA project leads and the Global and Regional CDMA Franchise, as well as commercial and development functions to establish the best medical affairs plans and manage resources across various medical affairs projects to increase value and efficiency.
•\tDevelop detailed project plans with timelines and key milestones around product launches for all activities related to global and regional medical affairs evidence plans.
•\tMonitor all MA Studies (Alcon initiated and Investigator initiated), Projects, and Deliverables in Franchise(s).
•\tIdentify projects/studies which should be considered for periodic review by Project Governance bodies to help resolve project issues and enable achievement of key CDMA milestones.
•\tContinuously monitor and measure CDMA team progress against key activities to ensure all associated actions are well executed, action support needs are quickly identified, and recommendations for improvement are provided.
•\tConduct periodic prospective reviews of MA project resource requirements for CDMA Franchise and identifies and resolves potential resource conflicts in supporting projects' executions.
•\tPrepares MA project dashboards to review with CMO and Regional and Global CDMA Franchise Head(s).
•\tPrepares, with R&D Finance, monthly projections for CDMA Franchise project spend to facilitate financial decision making.
•\tHelp to develop a strategic publication plan, monitor status of publication activities in Regional and Global CDMA and provide a periodic update to CDMA leadership.
•\tCreate, track and maintain publication activities and deliverables associated with an increasing "share of voice" for the Surgical and Vision Care Franchises.
•\tFacilitate activities (e.g., CDMA-PRC meetings, cross functional meetings, cross regional meetings etc.), including agenda, pre-reads, minutes, action plans and follow up.

Minimum requirements
•\tFluent in verbal and written English communication skills.
•\tBachelor's degree in a related field with (7+) years of directly related working experience OR equivalent combination of education and work experience (HS+15, AA+11, MS+4, PhD+3)
•\tExcellent project management, planning and tracking, communication and interpersonal skills.
•\tMicrosoft Project experience.
•\tFamiliarity of Clinical Study Planning/Execution.
•\tExcellent complex analytical skills (problem structuring and problem solving)
•\tAbility to influence stakeholders at all levels in pursuit of objectives
