Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering

• Develop and manage a high-performing team through selection, development, and motivation of associates to consistently achieve and exceed objectives. Develop robust talent within team for future growth and MS&T strategy.
• Plan, organize and manage engineering resources to solve process & production problems, develop & implement process improvements, and implement new products into manufacturing while maintaining the highest quality standards and facilitating continuous improvement in product cost, asset utilization and cycle times
• Partner with R&D on design for manufacturability, process validation and metrology validation.
• Ensure robust product stewardship for the all products manufactured within responsibility, and end-to-end technical oversight of product manufacturing processes, at all stages of their commercial lifecycle.
• Ensure the robustness and capability of manufacturing and packaging processes by monitoring of each product's Critical Process Parameters (CPP) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs) thru a continued process verification program and review of Periodic Validation Reviews (PVRs).
• Lead excellence in manufacturing through standard setting and technical capability development and deployment.
• Support capability improvements by deploying the specialist scientific and technical competence (e.g. quality, yield) as well as equipment capability improvement (e.g. improve material flow).
• Ensure the area of responsibility has set and rigorously applies appropriate technical standards for processing, packaging and materials, where applicable, employing new/modern processes and technologies (e.g. Quality by Design (QbD), Design of Experiment (DOE) and Process Analytical Technologies (PAT))
• Lead cross-functional root cause analysis and problem solving on technical process issues (e.g., recurring deviations, quality-investigations, CAPA-studies).
• Identify and support the introduction of new technologies and equipment (e.g., manufacturing equipment).
• Drive change control in manufacturing organization.

Preferred qualifications:
• Demonstrated track record of previous leadership experience as well as influencing and interacting with across organizations and at various levels.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and medical device regulatory compliance standards.
• Electro-mechanical expertise, particular within automation, CNC Machining, and mechanical fixture design. Strong technical knowledge of automated equipment/processes for manufacturing.
• Ability to organize and direct technical projects, including planning, scheduling, allocating resources and multi-tasking
• Ability to plan and to adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent organization and verbal and w communication skills
• Strong statistical analysis/process capability measurement skills
