Job Description

As manager of the NSW and Queensland field force you will lead a group of dedicated and extraordinarily talented individuals to build and execute business plans to meet and exceed sales goals for the region.

Key responsibilities includes:
-Leading the team ensuring proper levels of support are maintained with customers
-Represent the organisation by maintaining contact with major accounts within region and apply broad knowledge of the organisations products, services and marketing techniques.
-Foster a motivated team culture focused on success, development and accountability
-Coach and develop our Business Development Managers to deliver a competitive, clinical and financial message tailored to meet customer needs through co-travel, business reviews
-Recruit, on board, train and develop high performing Business Development Managers
-Maintain required technical expertise required in order to respond accurately to all questions regarding products, services, and business related issues from customers
-Prepare and review regular sales reports reflecting regional activities and translate into meaningful direction to the team
-Participate in the determination of the regional sales target and in the preparation of regional sales expense estimates
- Maximise BDM performance by tracking individual sales growth, collecting feedback from customers, monitoring call calendars and pre-booking of appointments, and monitoring call reports.
-Prepare for and conduct performance reviews
-Create sales growth within the region
-Analyse market opportunities and Alcon sales data in order to provide strategic direction to Business Development Managers.

Minimum requirements
- Strong sales experience in healthcare industry
-Strong organisational skills
-Ability to analyse and draw appropriate conclusions using sales data/call reporting software/applications
-Previous management / leadership experience preferred
-Ability to develop and motivate others, lead trough change, and deliver on the company business imperatives
