Product Sales Specialist, Visualisation & Ophthalmic Microscopes

Job Description

As part of the Surgical team, you will join a group of dedicated and extraordinarily talented individuals to drive awareness, adoption and penetration of our Advanced Visualisation and Ophthalmic Microscope portfolio.

The primary objective of this role is to the drive sales of the portfolio, including planning, organising and implementing all sales activities related to the sale and clinical support of Alcon's Advanced Visualisation and Microscope products.

Responsibilities include
•Performing effective territory penetration coverage and account identification to drive sales
•Conduct trials of the product in the operating room in hospitals and day surgery centres
•Conduct product evaluation and clinical education
•Develop trusted advisor level relationships with key customers and decision makers 
•Maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge,
•Maintaining compliance with all applicable quality, regulatory guidelines, Alcon policies and procedures as an integral part of business operations 
•Act in accordance with Alcon values and behaviours

Minimum requirements •University degree or equivalent industry experience
•Ophthalmic experience is essential
•At least three (3) years of related Ophthalmic microscopy experience.
•An in depth knowledge of the ophthalmology industry preferred
