Materials Control Tech/Driver

Operate line/equipment to package products, in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., cGMP, SOPs).

Safety/Housekeeping: Keep work areas and access ways clean and free of hazards or dangerous conditions. Follow department and company safety guidelines, identify and report safety hazards or unsafe behavior. Perform duties in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Planning: Plan work activities in accordance with production schedule, and shifting priorities. Ensure that materials/components/supplies needed for daily operations are available. Technical: Strictly adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices, Current Good Documentation Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures and report all discrepancies immediately. Verify equipment for daily operation, according to SOP for assigned work area. Operate equipment in accordance with SOP and quality standards. Transfer and account for product/material movements within the warehouse. Transport skids of finished goods to proper areas. Receive materials, account for materials and quantities in computerized systems. Return materials to warehouse, accounting for materials, and completing return tags. Remove products in bulk boxes, properly tag unfinished goods and store properly. Handle rejected products/materials; dispose of full reject bins and return to the warehouse. Remove, count and verify amounts of units on skids of finished goods to Quarantine. Replenish materials on equipment. Inspect products used to fill orders for: defects, incorrect coding, incorrect expiration dates, incorrect language Remove off-specification products from area, and segregate or dispose of in accordance with SOPs. Verify codes on shippers; palletize and attach proper skid tags. Complete required documentation to trace material movement in a timely manner, in accordance with cGMP and cGDP. Troubleshoot and fix minor problems with line/equipment, alerting maintenance or supervisors as needed. Assist with Packaging and Sterile Fill Technician duties when production demands require. Team: Collaborate with co-workers to meet business objectives and enhance team capability Share knowledge and experience with co-workers to develop team’s overall capability. Interfaces: Coordinate with other shifts and departments to ensure smooth execution of work and compliance.
