Manager, HSE Systems & Data


Job Description

•The purpose of this role is to develop and manage HSE systems and processes for global monitoring and measurement of HSE data aligned with business objectives to ensure sustainable and effective HSE management for the entire Alcon organization.
•Additionally, this function is to provide global support for tools used for general HSE data reporting and generate reports used for Executive Management Reviews.
•Develop and maintain an HSE IT strategy for HSE data systems together with relevant IT and technology partners aligned with business objectives and ensure integration with other relevant IT business applications.
•Develop and maintain training program to ensure role related HSE competency and training needs are identified and addressed for the entire Alcon organization.
•Technically support SMEs to ensure effective implementation of HSE data systems throughout the entire Alcon organization.
•Establish and maintain an HSE dashboard which gives oversight of Global HSE goals, objectives, key performance indicators and targets in alignment with the global HSE strategy.
•Collate aggregates and prepare HSE data reports (e.g. Dashboards) for Global HSE team, Site, Function & Business Unit Leadership, ELT and other internal stakeholders, as required.
•Provide support and facilitate with the Head of HSE Management System business planning of annual management review, monitoring and measurement of goals, objectives, targets, trends and indicators
•Provide support to the Global and Site HSE teams to help ensure conformance with all pertinent Alcon HSE data reporting standards via routine discussions, trainings, and program reviews.
•Coordinate the collection and preparation of all HSE material for corporate responsibility and annual report and other highly professional HSE relevant responses for all external stakeholders, NGOs, Sustainability rating agencies, and internal support (i.e. Tender Bid Responses)

Minimum requirements

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
•The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
•5 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred:
• SQL and SAP platform knowledge, advanced knowledge in Excel (pivot tables, slicers, data segmenting, etc.), Office 365 and SharePoint.
• Experience related to health, safety and environment, ideally at multi-national organization, with a significant portion being within the manufacturing industry, preferably with pharmaceutical industry.
