Manager Primary & Secondary Research, Global Strategic Insights

Overall Scope:

Provide business insights to the team to guide the long term plans of the business by highlighting opportunities, identifying risks early; developing actionable insights from research.

  • supporting global market research initiatives for a brand family or therapeutic areas to guide commercial and franchise business decisions
  • He / she will create reports that are appropriate for various audiences: cross-functional business partners to the C-suite
  • Proactively synthesis and delivers customer insights with recommendations to inform business decisions
  • Collaborates with a variety of internal stakeholders, earning a ‘seat at the table’ by being a business partner, not an order-taker
  • Supports the strategic planning process by leading comprehensive analysis of the business, market and competition to identify the biggest opportunities to drive success.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing research and translating the findings into insights
  • Proven experience in leading insights from white space to concept testing, claims development to creative copy strategic guidance
  • Work with the Sr. Manager to drive research initiatives, align stakeholders on objectives, deliverables and implement best practices according to recognized standards and legal and ethical processes
  • Minimum 3 years of marketing research experience with at least 2 years on the client side
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a Global, Matrixed environment
  • Ability to flex style; working with colleagues in different geographic or functional areas to achieve objectives
  • Preferred Experience:
  • CPG and/or Medical Device experience
  • Experience managing research on a regional or global level
