Global Product Security Director

Job Description
• The Product Security Director drives the development and implementation of the Alcon Surgical Product Security Risk Management Program (as applied across products, key projects, process, and/or portfolio) to facilitate global market success and is responsible for ensuring close collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Provides leadership, ensuring high quality security risk management framework, updated policies, guidelines, awareness and regulatory security submission support for assigned portfolio

• Organize and lead close collaboration with internal stakeholders and supports a broad Surgical portfolio

• Leads and drives the implementation of common security risk management framework for products

• Represents the organization as the primary internal contact on identified product security risk portfolio

• Leads the team effort in addressing security implementation for key regulatory and compliance frameworks

• Provides assessments of changing security regulations, compliance, and guidance, and identifies any needed changes to internal policies and processes

• Provides oversight for the development of product security policies and training that are clear, concise, and traceable

• Drives implementation of common security templates to be supported globally

• Oversees and sometimes leads negotiations with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., regions, customers, etc.,) to align on a timely resolution to achieve corporate business objectives

• Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with stakeholders

Minimum requirements • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 10 Years of Relevant Experience
• 6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
• Degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity or Computer Science
• At least one security certification
• Experience in working with complex global projects in multi-stakeholder environment
• Experience in developing, sharing, and maintaining product security risk management frameworks
• Experience in medical device product development lifecycle and regulations (e.g. FDA, MDR, etc.,)
• Experience in implementing security into medical device product development lifecycle
• Ability to communicate cybersecurity in the way the business can understand and take action
• Familiar with Information Security Standards, Privacy Regulations and Compliance (e.g. NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27000 series)
• Experience with identifying security risks from a technical, people, and process perspective
• Demonstrated leadership of direct or indirect members of team
