Global Labeling Team Lead

Manage the labeling process (domestic and global) from inception to completion for new, revised and promotional product labeling. Prioritize and proactively drive labeling projects to completion within appropriate timelines, resolve conflicts, analyze the impact of changes, monitor group performance and demonstrate continued improvement & efficiency.

Manage the overall process for art development and approval for the Vision Care or Surgical Products divisions, ensuring there are no product recalls or printed errors. Advise management of issues which could create exposure to the company and implement labeling changes with minimal financial impact. Monitor the effectiveness of the Labeling function and implement system and process improvements where appropriate. Provide direction to Labeling staff and assist in problem resolution regarding projects and revisions. Provide a means of tracking and reporting project status, corporate quality objectives, and departmental performance metrics. Address planning and scheduling conflicts with production artist and workload balance. Resolve issues between reviewers to ensure timely approval and availability of labeling. Provide labeling input to the Post Marketing Risk Assessment team to ensure labeling remains in compliance with Legal, Technical, and Regulatory requirements. Participate on interdepartmental teams for special projects to develop process efficiencies and improvements in Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain.
