Field Service Engineer - Baltimore

•Provides technical and administrative support activities including repair, preventative maintenance and upgrades on Alcon surgical equipment within a geographical region in order to provide the highest level of service, maximize customer satisfaction and achieve financial objectives.
•Provide timely technical services on Alcon surgical equipment as required including phone support and onsite corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, installation, and other service related duties.
•Rep manages their day-to-day schedule with help as needed from manager and senior service reps.
•Responsible for customer satisfaction on assigned territory.
•Ensures a high level of communications with customers, sales force, operations, and within the operating region to ensure customer needs are rapidly addressed.
•Communicates equipment problems, quality issues and customer concerns to the appropriate in-house personal within the established guidelines.
•Expense management and perform duties within budgetary guidelines
•Manages assigned inventory
•Strategically promote, educate and market Alcon services to customers.
•Properly manages company assets (Company vehicle, test equipment, computer, etc.)
•Provides timely and accurate documentation on services performed.

•Preferred: 1 year troubleshooting complex technical instruments or devices preferably with computer and/or electronic assembly, maintenance, or repair experience.
