Facilities Support Supervisor

Supervise the machine shop and custodial operations to provide equipment service through modifications, continuous improvement, quick responsiveness, and engineering process improvements. Supervise various high grade level maintenance mechanics to provide support to critical utilities, processes and equipment through modifications, continuous improvements, quick responsiveness, and process improvements. This supervision is required over multiple shifts and off hours in getting modifications or installations completed and to support the entire manufacturing facility.

Ensures that preventive maintenance, new equipment installation, and corrective maintenance are completed in a timely, correct and complete manner.

Provide leadership to create an environment which fosters open communications, utilitizies teamwork and recognizes employees as a vital and critical resource.

Ensure personnel follow all applicable GMP's, SOP's and GDP's, OSHA, EPA, and state/local ordinances. Maintain the facility in a safe and functional manner.

Provide technical support to control and monitor the process and utility systems as well as recommend and implement improvements and solutions to such systems including capital and non-capital projects.

Interface and interact on routine basis with peers, management, outside suppliers, and governmental agencies to assist as needed on facility issues.

Responsible for execution and tracking of assigned projects from technical, scheduling and financial perspectives all the way through implementation.

Provide rotational coverage of the facility support phone.

Minimum: 7 years' supervisory experience in related field and 5 years directly related facilities experience

Preferred: 10 years experience in Maintenance and Machine Shop (preferred).
