Division BPA Manager, Performance Mgmt

The Division BPA Manager acts as a business partner for Regions and Functions by understanding key business drivers, tracking performance against KPIs, assessing risks & opportunities and jointly developing action plans. With this information, the Global BPA Manager supports the Global BPA team in managing overall Divisional financial numbers. The responsibilities for this role primarily include target setting and financial performance monitoring (Target, Latest Forecast (LF)).

  • Acts as a business partner analyzing and understanding key drivers of performance, tracking results against KPIs, and proactively assessing risks & opportunities
  • Deliver high quality, accurate, and timely reporting of key division performance management deliverables, both internally (fact book, scorecards, ELT presentations, MBR), and externally (ECN, board)
  • Manage Investor Relations process (draft press releases, liaison with functions to prepare for analyst/external questions) and financial oversight to Global Communications
  • Ensure smooth and accurate close activities and improve management reporting through automation and simplification / standardization
  • Extensive use of financial systems (ASPIRE / BPC)

Minimum requirements – Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance

  • 6-9 years of relevant experience in financial planning and/or performance management
  • English – excellent writing and verbal communication skills (high level of visibility and exposure with senior management)
  • Strong analytical capabilities – including advanced Excel and PowerPoint (ability to synthesize, simplify, and convey story with clear and concise presentations)
  • Proactivity, attention to detail and quality, and ability to influence and see big picture

Prefer:

CPA, CMA or MBA

Previous Alcon country and/or commercial experience – exposure to Surgical and Vision Care -
