Director, HR, Corporate Quality & MTO

The purpose of this role is to identify, ensure alignment on and implement a Functional/Divisional talent and workforce plan that addresses both the strategic and operational talent needs of the business. Leads and manages all aspects of the HR function within Corp MTO & QA globally, while balancing, supporting and addressing Corporate, Area, Regional and Local needs, challenges and opportunities. Acts as the strategic advisor to senior Functional/Divisional management on all people related matters as well as leading a team of oh HRBPs.

  • Actively participates on the respective divisional VP's team and represents the function in business meetings
  • Builds the HR agenda and workforce plan for assigned Corp QA & Corp MTO
  • Provides coaching and consulting to Senior Management and line management on a wide range of employee relations, union and non-bargaining employee relations, recruiting, and compensation and benefits matters.

  • Develops and implements recruitment strategies that guarantee the organization is appropriated staffed, by attracting, selecting and maintaining a work force with the right mix of leadership business and technical expertise that each function requires.
  • Interprets, recommends and executes corporate approved policies and procedures and suggests new ones that contribute to foster a Best in Class organization by addressing particular needs of associates and the business.
  • Ensures a consistent and quality application of the Performance Review and Development Program including Reward Differentiation with the Merit and Bonus processes.
  • Leads and coaches the organization through talent processes and their implementation, including succession planning, internal promotions and adequate definition of developmental activities
  • Coordinate the identification of training and development needs throughout all functions and assures they are sufficient and aligned with the business strategy, required functional expertise, personnel development and corporate requirements.
  • Manages the implementation of enterprise-wide HR programs, processes and practices across MTO in coordination with Area HR Directors
  • Provides management to HR Mgr- Corp MTO with coaching and consulting support in all areas of talent management, including selection, assessment, development, deployment, engagement and retention of talent
  • Leads global efforts and provides guidance on organization effectiveness, change and design interventions and initiatives within the respective division
  • Assesses, prioritizes and represents divisional workforce needs to COEs and HR Operations. Collaborates in identifying solutions, takes a lead role in their implementation and engages in ongoing assessment of HR process effectiveness and identification of improvement opportunities and solutions

Fluent in English

10 years directly related experience with progressive HR generalist responsibility.

Preferred:

Master's degree in Human Resources or related field

2+ years leading people

Practical and proven accomplishments in the areas of talent management, leadership and organizational effectiveness and design, organizational design and change management.
