Director, Corporate Development Strategy

Leads identification, analysis and strategy development of acquisitions, licenses, partnership, and alliances opportunities. Provides ongoing support to SVP in aligning the organization with strategy, driving progression, and ensuring integration of external opportunities. Leads key cross functional strategic projects, problem-solve with and counsel leaders, and provide guidance to organization to develop problem structuring, deal strategy, action planning, recommendation synthesis, and implementation.

Strategy

+Develop overall corporate development strategy to increase pipeline value via acquisitions, business development and licensing, and partnership and alliances

+Develop strategic priorities in concert with Division, Franchise, and R&D strategy

+Conduct landscape scan of key priority areas to identify external white spaces and growth opportunities

BD&L Transactions

+Lead cross functional team to drive business growth by seeking, evaluating, recommending, and structuring external deals while managing internal processes to get approval and finalize these deals

+Involved in effective deal negotiation, risk mitigation, and execution to implement approved opportunities

+Ongoing support to SVP in external/industry events

+Prepare and develop high quality presentations for SVP for external use (e.g. industry conferences, academic association meetings)

+Represent Alcon and participate in external industry associations, alliances, and partnership for market development
